Parent Focus

Parents or primary carers are the focus of the approach I use. My job is to guide and coach parents to help their child to develop the communication, listening and speech skills that will become integral to all other aspects of their daily life. I am here to help parents become the primary facilitators of their child's listening and spoken language development and case managers for their child's audiological and educational needs. Through active consistent participation in each session with their child; through joint goal setting and evaluation, parents are acknowledged as central to their child's progress.
